Tenor Marc Deaton and six singing actors perform excerpts from operas and plays re-styled as episodes from a life that occurs in a hotel room in a nameless city.

All this takes place within the Deacon John Grave House on

Performers includes pianist Kelly Horsted and guest artists Jacob Boergesson, Rebecca Ellis, John Johmann, Allison Lindsay, Audra Moricca and Allison Waggener.

The program features scenes from Benjamin Britten's Billy Budd and The Rape of Lucretia; Saint-Saëns' Samson et Dalila; Beethoven's Fidelio; Puccini's Manon Lescaut; Samuel Beckett’s Play; Ronald Harwood’s The Dresser; Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana, and Korngold's Die Tote Stadt.
