Ticket Costs

  • Tickets for the three main productions - Of Mice and Men, Into the Woods, and Hansel and Gretel - are $40.
  • A season subscription to our three main productions is only $99.99, a saving of $20 over the individual ticket price!
  • Our season-ender, Hotel Fables, is an extra offering that is not part of the subscription series. Tickets are $40.


Other Ticketing Information

  • All sales are final and there are no refunds.
  • Seating for all performances is General Admission and not reserved.
  • ​After your payment transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation from Brown Paper Tickets. Please print that receipt for your records.


The Shopping Cart

Brown Paper Tickets' shopping cart has a checkout feature you should be aware of so you can choose the type of purchase most comfortable for you:

  • If you are using a desktop computer or most types of tablets, the shopping cart will give you two checkout options: 1. to create a Brown Paper Tickets website account as part of checkout; or 2. to check out as a guest and not create an account.
  • If you are using a smartphone to place your order, the shopping cart will require you to create a Brown Paper Tickets website account to place your order.


Types of Tickets

As you choose your tickets for the season-opener and the four main productions, you can choose to receive one of four different types of tickets:

  • Will-Call: Your name will be added to a checklist at the box office; you will not receive a separate ticket.
  • Print-At-Home: You will be emailed a ticket you can print at home and bring with you.
  • Mobile Delivery: You will receive a ticket that becomes available in the ticketing management app of your smartphone. You must bring your smartphone to the box office.
  • Physical Ticket: You will receive a printed ticket by U.S. Mail that you can bring with you.


When you purchase Season Subscriptions, the only type of ticket available is a Will-Call ticket.
 


About Our Performing Venue and Our Performances

  • All our performances take place at the Deacon John Grave House, located at 581 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT, on the corner of Academy Street.
  • The Grave House is now fully air-conditioned and heated; and restrooms are easily available.


Free parking is available:

  • along Academy Street;
  • in front of the Academy School;
  • in the parking lots at the Madison Green;
  • in the parking lot of St. Margaret's Catholic Church, further along Academy Street;
  • in the parking lot of the Guilford Savings Bank next door.


  • Please note that the Grave House is nearly 400 years old, and there are irregularities in flooring, ceilings, etc. Nevertheless …
  • All performances are accessible to people with special needs including wheelchairs, canes, and walkers.
  • Because we are an immersive theatre and seating is always fluid, special care will be taken to make sure our guests are safe and comfortable.

 

  • Some productions may not be suitable for children. When they are not, we will inform you in advance.
  • As we cater to a very small occupancy, tickets may sell very quickly and may not always available at the door.
